GoldAppraisers helps you value precious metals and track your holdings. We keep the data we collect to the minimum needed to run the app, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, used to sign in and secure your data.
- Your content: the holdings you add — metal, weight, purity, quantity, and optional cost basis — and your currency preference.
- Subscription status: if you buy Pro, our payments provider (RevenueCat + Google Play) tells us whether your subscription is active. We never see your card or bank numbers.
- Basic diagnostics: crash and error logs to keep the app stable.
Spot prices
To show live prices we request generic market quotes (e.g., gold in USD) from a market-data provider. These requests contain no personal information and nothing about your holdings — just the metal and currency.
How it’s stored & protected
Your data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) and protected by row-level security, so your holdings are visible only to your account. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Sharing
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share data only with the service providers that run the app (hosting, subscription management, market data) under agreements that limit them to serving you.
Your choices
You can edit or delete any holding at any time. You can permanently delete your entire account and all associated data from Account → Delete account in the app.
